Andrew's Writing Portfolio

My personal reflection. This assignment was to write about our experience in Prof. Cooper's English 101 class and the assignments carried out.

My take on the class was mixed at best. I came into the class thinking this would be easy. Write a couple essays, be done. I was so wrong. Dead wrong. The work was overwhelming at first, but I tried to work through it all.

The class was introduced to blackboard. Many of our assignments and work were to be submitted in B.B. I suppose the trouble for me started near essay 1. I had problems with it and didn't bother to seek help. I had believed I did a rewrite, but i guess i didn't.

At the end of the first 4 weeks, I made a plan to catch up and work harder than before. By that time I was doing so poorly, I felt like I should just quit. It was so stressful, with both school and work.

However, I stayed and tried. It still didn't go well, even through those 4 weeks and the next 4 as well. And finally I came to accept the reality, it was pretty much too late for me to pass.

And so, with submission of a horribly written final essay, I vowed to attend every class and learn what I could. At least I can get some valuable information that could help me. And that my friends, is the end of my storey in Proffessor Cooper's english 101.
